SUMMARY:February Solidarity Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Monthly Solidarity Gatherings in the Spirit of Resistance\n \nJoin Friends of the Eel River and our allies for solidarity gatherings on the second Monday of each month at Humbrews in Arcata from 5 – 7pm.\n \nJoin with community members to plan creative resistance to the Trump administration’s destructive policies, learn about community initiatives, and take meaningful action to protect the people, creatures, and values we all hold dear.\n \nHumbrews is generously donating a portion of sales during the event, so please bring your family out to have dinner and drinks and join the movement to support what our community cares about. There will also be a raffle each month and a variety of engaging activities.\n \nOn February 9 we will be making valentines and collecting donations for families affected by ICE actions in Minnesota. We will also present an update on Eel River dam removal and share a list of Black Humboldt events for Black History Month.\n \nOrganizations that are interested in partnering please contact Kanan at foer@eelriver.org.\n
