DESCRIPTION:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE\nBlack Humboldt Announces Rooted & Wellness Health Summit for Saturday May 16, 2026\nDay-long gathering in Eureka will center Black and Brown wellness while welcoming the wider community into healing, learning, and resource connection.\nEUREKA, CA , Black Humboldt is proud to announce the Rooted & Wellness Health Summit, taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka. This all-day immersive summit will offer practice space, learning opportunities, and community resources focused on supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, mental, and financial wellness.\nCreated with the needs of rural, Black Indigenous & POC communities in mind, the Rooted & Wellness Health Summit will center the experiences, wisdom, and expertise of Black and Brown communities while inviting people of all identities to attend and contribute offerings. The event is designed to help fill longstanding gaps in local health and wellness access by bringing together practitioners, educators, artists, and community members for a day of grounded connection and collective care.\nThe summit will feature workshops and offerings that blend practice space, information sharing, skill sharing, training materials, and resource connection. Programming will be organized across four key wellness tracks:\nPhysical Wellness, including offerings such as dance classes, yoga, and somatic practice. Spiritual and Emotional Wellness, including conflict management, circle work, and communication practices. Financial Wellness, including homebuyership, financial maintenance, and Banking 411 and Mental Wellness, including meditation, breathwork, journaling, and art therapy\nBlack Humboldt is currently accepting workshop proposals through Friday, April 17 at 5:00 PM PST.
