Lodge Lightning Complex Community Meeting, Saturday, August 9th in Leggett/Laytonville Featured

Additional Lodge Lightning Complex Community Meetings are scheduled for this Saturday, August 9th, in Leggett starting at 1 pm at Redwood Mercantile and in Laytonville at 5 pm held in Harwood Hall.

According to information recieved by KMUD News, Sheriff Allman said his office will issue evacuation warnings before any actual evacuations, and suggested that folks make sure they're registered in the county's Reverse 911 system in case evacuation notices are needed.

Subject:    Evacuation Warning issued for the area around the eastern boundary of the Lodge Complex Fire.

What:    An Evacuation Warning has been issued for the area around the eastern boundary of the Lodge Fire near Camp Seabow, Bowman Ranch Rd, Peterson and Grubb Creeks as well as residences in the areas of:
- Big Bend                                     - Grizzly Creek
- Cedar Flat                                   -  Hermitage
- Cummings / Little Red Mountain          - Little Dann Creek
- Dann Valley                                    - Tan Oak Park

An, “Evacuation Warning,” means there is a potential threat to life and property in the affected areas. Individuals living in these areas should have a plan and be prepared to leave.
