The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Hoopa woman who hasn’t been seen since September.  Sumi Gail Juan, 33, was reported missing October 29, 2010 after an acquaintance grew concerned.  The Sheriff’s Office contacted relatives of Juan who confirmed they had not seen her since September or early October.  Juan’s child has been cared for by family members since her disappearance. Few other details are known. 

Sumi Juan is a Native American adult woman, approximately 5’10” tall and weighing 200 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.  She has a birthmark on her left calf and she wears glasses occasionally.
