Update on disappearance of man in Eureka

According to a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, dated September 23, 2011:
Today, Friday, September 23,  around noon, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Detectives located Robert Sears alive and well at a Eureka Hotel on Broadway. The Sheriff's Office had received a missing person’s report, along with second hand reports that Sears was possibly a homicide victim. Those reports have been determined to be unfounded. 
Sheriff’s Detectives were able to locate Sears after several leads came into the Sheriff's Office from the public after Sears photograph appeared in the media. The Sheriff's Office would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
