Arcata Police seek assistance locating missing man-Update; missing man located Featured

According to a press release from the Arcata Police Department, dated Fri., February 28, 2013, David Anthony Williams, who was reported missing by a family member on February 21st, has been located after admitting himself to a local medical facility. On Tuesday, February 27, 2013 the Arcata Police Department was notified David Anthony Williams, age 53, had been located after admitting himself to a local medical facility. Williams was reported missing by a family member on February 21st.  

The Arcata Police Department would like to thank all those who assisted in the search for Mr. Williams.

According to a press release from the Arcata Police Department, dated Fri., February 22, 2013: 

The Arcata Police Department is seeking assistance in locating David Anthony Williams, age 53. Williams and his wife were in town visiting family in Arcata on Thurs., Feb. 21 when he went for a walk at about 11:00am. Williams told family he was walking to the northtown area to get something to eat. He did not return. Williams was reported missing by a family member later that evening.  He has a history of mental health issues and is considered at risk.
 
Anyone who has seen Mr. Williams or has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to call the Arcata Police Department at (707)822-2428. 

Williams is described as a white male adult, 6'-2" tall, weighing 150 lbs with short brown hair and blue eyes.  He wears glasses.
