A major fire broke out at a large warehouse on the Samoa peninsula early this Thursday (Nov. 1) morning, burning a 70,000 square foot building.  The blaze completely destroyed a small outbuilding, but firefighters managed to keep the fire to about 25 percent of the large warehouse.  Fire departments from Crescent City to Redway responded along with CalFire, with a total of 16 departments and agencies helping to put out the flames.
