Listen to KMUD with either mp3 stream or WindowsMedia stream

Our mp3 stream plays in iTunes, Quicktime, RealPlayer, Winamp and other software.
For Windows Media Player, use this link (may not work on all Macintosh systems or older Windows Media Player software). Media Player can play mp3 streams, it just has to be tricked into it. Go to File, Open URL, and enter http://live.str3am.com:2410.

For Pocket PC we recommend the free GSPlayer and our mp3 stream

For Macs running OS 9 you can still get version 2.0.4 of iTunes that works fine with our mp3 stream. Use Command-U to open a window where you can enter the stream address, e.g. http://live.str3am.com:2410/listen.pls .

There are other mp3 players for older Macintosh systems. Soundjam was very popular until iTunes came along, and there was a free version of Soundjam available, but a long websearch didn't turn up a live download link. Audion was quite popular as well, and it is still available free for download from Panic.com

For Macs running new and old systems you can use the Quicktime Player (included in most systems) and with Command-U open a URL for a stream, and again enter http://live.str3am.com:2410/listen.pls. I most recently tested this on OS 9.2.

Please note that some browsers will not automatically start the playback program (e.g. iTunes or Windows Media Player, or Real Player). In that case you should double-click on the file the browser downloaded, (listen.pls) and open it with the playpack program mentioned above.
