ABOUT SIDECAR TOMMY: Sidecar Tommy is known for beats - both digital and drummed, with roots steeped in the Bay Area Underground. Amidst a successful run as co-producer/co-founder/multi- instrumentalist/Beat Maker of Global Bass band Beats Antique, Sidecar Tommy's solo work is inspired by Instrumental Hip-Hop, Bass Music, and Experimental Trap fuzed with organic soundscapes. For a Sidecar set, the drummer gloves come off as he steps up to the booth for a fully immersive beats du jour armed with an impressive catalog of unreleased rarities and bold and beautiful tracks spanning everything from Global Bass Music, Experimental Trap, Downtempo Anthems and Hip-Hop flavors. In music selection, the only requirement is that it works in the moment - "I'll grab my favorite tracks from my own self-produced catalog of beats and artists I love whether they released it yesterday or 10+ years ago," says Tommy.
