Main Street in Fort Bragg. A discussion of the issues and what is to be done will follow. The Film is FREE and there will be Refreshments.\n\nOverview of Earth’s Greatest Enemy\nEarth’s Greatest Enemy is a documentary directed by journalist Abby Martin that reveals the U.S. military as the world’s largest institutional polluter. The film combines investigative journalism with personal narratives from communities affected by military operations, aiming to shed light on the environmental consequences of U.S. imperialism.\nThe documentary uncovers the shocking blind spot in the climate conversation that is the U.S. military. Exempt from international climate agreements and rarely scrutinized in mainstream reporting, the Pentagon is revealed here as the world’s single largest institutional polluter – spewing carbon, contaminating water, and scarring landscapes across the globe. Combining investigative journalism, striking visuals, and stories from impacted communities, the film challenges audiences to rethink the hidden costs of a global military empire and its planetary consequences.
