•The KMUD on-air Pledge Drive is about to begin, and KMUD invites all interested Pledge Drive Volunteers to learn the ins and outs of Pledge Drive Volunteering; from answering phones to on-air strategies.  Pledge Drive Volunteer Training will take place tonight at 5:30pm at the Healy Senior Center in Redway.  If you have never volunteered, but would like to, or if you are a Pledge Drive Adept, all are welcome to learn and share.  That’s tonight from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the Healy Senior Center in Redway.

•Another Friday meeting will continue the conversation on the impact of homeless, transients, travelers, new settlers, seasonal workers, unemployed job seekers, and others on the community. The meeting will be held at the Vet’s Hall in Garberville, this Friday, October 21st from 6 to 8pm.  A recorded version of the previous meeting is available online at KMUD.org. Notes were taken and are available by request via email, or as hard copy in advance, or at the meeting.  This follow-up will organize and prioritize solutions and concerns presented at the previous meeting. New ideas will be accepted as well.  All are welcome.  For more information call Paul at 923-4488 or email [email protected].
