Community Safety and Awareness Report for Thursday, January 5^th, 2012

•The Humboldt County Health and Human Services Mobile Outreach Program will be back in Redway next week to assist with MediCal, CMSP, and CalFresh applications. They can also take referrals for county mental health services including assessments, counseling, and ongoing case management. This month, they will be joined by the Veterans Services Office. Veterans needing assistance in obtaining documents and service records, or wanting counseling about possible eligibility for veterans benefits, service connected compensation, disability pensions, and enrollment in VA Health Care are encouraged to drop by. That’s next Thursday, January 12^th from to 10am to 2pm at the Redway First Baptist Church on Redway Drive.
