Community Safety and Awareness Report for Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

•Humboldt County Health and Human Services Mobile Outreach Program will be delivering county services such as MediCal, CalFresh Food Stamps, Public Health, and Mental Health programs to outlying communities next Thursday, February 9th.  Between 10am and 2pm, the Mobile Outreach Program will once again be parked at the Redway First Baptist Church on Redway Drive, down the street from KMUD.

•If you’re interested in knowing more about California Highway Patrol policies, practices, new laws, and more, then tune in to KMUD, tonight, at 7pm for the Civil Liberties Hour with Bonnie Blackberry.  This month’s Civil Liberties Hour will feature guests Public Information Officer, Matt Harvey, and Sergeant Martin Abshire, from the Redway/Garberville CHP office.  This will be a call in program.  Listener participation is encouraged.  Tune in and be informed.  For more information contact the Civil Liberties Monitoring Project at 923-4646 or email to [email protected].
