Community Safety and Awareness Report for Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

•Today is Groundhog Day.  Punxsutawney Phil awoke this morning and saw his shadow, predicting 6 more weeks of winter.

•Humboldt County Health and Human Services Mobile Outreach Program will be delivering county services such as MediCal, CalFresh Food Stamps, Public Health, and Mental Health programs to outlying communities next Thursday, February 9th.  Between 10am and 2pm, the Mobile Outreach Program will once again be parked at the Redway First Baptist Church on Redway Drive, down the street from KMUD.

•Tune in tonight at 7pm for Women’s Radio Collectively.  That’s tonight, from 7 to 8pm, right here, on KMUD.
