Community Safety and Awareness Report for Monday, April 4th, 2011
•One-way controlled traffic is in effect on Highway 101, 4 miles north of Garberville. Expect 30 minute delays. For updated information call 1-800-GAS-ROAD.
•The Humboldt County Department of Public Works will be performing emergency work on Glendale Drive, in the Blue Lake area, approximately one-quarter mile west of the Highway 299 overpass. Glendale Drive will be closed to through traffic from the Murphy’s Market to the Highway 299 overpass through Saturday April 9th. Glendale Drive will be open for local traffic only. Call the office of Humboldt County Public Works at 445-7421 or Blue Lake Public Works at 668-5655 with questions.
