Community Safety and Awareness Report for Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

•CAL FIRE personnel has begun defensible space inspections of residential properties throughout the Humboldt-Del Norte Unit.  CAL FIRE is reminding homeowners to protect their property with defensible space as required by state law by removing dead vegetation 100 feet from all structures.  Remember, defensible space is YOUR responsibility.  For more information, visit the CAL FIRE web site at: fire.ca.gov.

KMUD will host a Board Mixer to recruit new Board and Community Advisory Board Members this Thursday, May 19th at 5pm at the KMUD Studios in Redway.  All interested Community Members are invited to attend.
