•CAL FIRE personnel have begun defensible space inspections of residential properties throughout Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.  CAL FIRE is reminding homeowners to protect their property with defensible space as required by state law by removing dead vegetation 100 feet from all structures.  Remember, defensible space is YOUR responsibility.  For more information, visit the CAL FIRE web site at: fire.ca.gov.

•The next KMUD Board of Directors Meeting will be held tonight at 4pm at the Healy Senior Center in Redway.

•KMUD will host a Yard Sale from 9am to 6pm at 1506 Spyrock Road north of Laytonville, this Sunday, May 29th.  There will be shelves, kitchen items, tools, collectibles, and more.  All proceeds will go to KMUD.  We would like to thank Marion Maples-Bouck for the amazing gift she has left the station.
