Community Safety and Awareness Report for Wednesday, August 17th, 2011

•The Redway Community Services District appreciates the community’s ongoing water conservation efforts.  Construction on the Infiltration Gallery is underway.

•Community Members who are interested in serving on the Redwood Community Radio (KMUD) Board of Directors should contact a Board Member or Sarah at the station by today.  There are openings for a Program Representative AND Board Appointed positions.  Call 923-2513, extension 106.

•Caltrans reports that they are continuing the re-paving project through the Avenue of the Giants this week.  They’ll be chip sealing and striping 10 miles of the Avenue, starting at the south junction with Highway 101.  One-way controlled traffic will be controlled from 7 am to 7 pm daily. 

•The Redwood Community Radio, KMUD Board of Directors will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 23rd, at 4 pm at the Healy Senior Center on Briceland Road in Redway.

•Tune in tonight at 7pm for The Computer Guys. That’s tonight, from 7 to 8pm, right here, on KMUD.
