On 7-26-2011 at about 1100 hours, Assault with a deadly weapon suspect Mark Anthony Nelson turned himself in to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

Upon being taken into custody by HCSO staff, Detectives from the Eureka Police Department responded and took custody of Nelson. Nelson was transported to the Eureka Police Department, where he was interviewed and then booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. Nelson is being held on $100,000 bail.
