Care for the Coast with Trinidad Coastal Land Trust

Welcome the turning of the seasons with the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust as we reflect on a beautiful summer in Trinidad. What would be in your snapshot of summer? Vibrant wildflower backdrops, fingers stained with sweet berries, surf perch on the grill, or a happy sandy dog asleep after an afternoon at the beach… The longest day of the year is slipping far behind us, but the memories of all that the coast gave us will keep us warm as the days get shorter.

Are you looking for a way to say “Thanks for all the smiles”? Come join the TCLT at our Stewardship Work Days, held the first Saturday of the month from 9:30am to noon! As a small nonprofit, we are so thankful for the dedication of our Stewardship Volunteers. They help us restore and preserve native biodiversity by removing invasive plants and help maintain safe and reliable public trails.

We’ll kick off the season with a work day on September 3rd at the Martin Creek Trail to Secret Beach. Come help us restore this special coastal ecosystem by removing invasive plant species! Later that month, we’re hosting a beach clean up along Scenic Drive, part of Northcoast Environmental Center’s Coastal Clean-Up Month. And in addition to two more invasive plant pulls, we will be restoring Houda Point on November 5th with native landscaping donated by Samara Restoration!

There are many opportunities to help steward these special coastal lands. Please email [email protected]org or call (707)677-2501 to sign up for any or all events!
