
Earth Day Celebration in Shelter Cove
Celebrate Earth Day by stewarding our public lands on Saturday, April 22 from
10a.m. to 2p.m. in Shelter Cove. Join Friends of the Lost Coast and BLM King Range
for varied service projects at Mal Coombs Park, Abalone Point and Black Sands
Beach, plus a coastal cleanup effort to launch a new Adopt A Beach program. Meet
10a.m. at Mal Coombs Park, 1176 Lower Pacific Dr. The day concludes with free
lunch for volunteers at 1:15pm and a talk by Dr. Dawn Goley to introduce the
Stranded Marine Mammal Monitoring Program and how you can get involved. RSVP
