First Friday featuring Pomo Weavers Society at Grace Hudson Museum
The Grace Hudson Museum will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. on October 7 for First Friday. A pop-up exhibit by Pomo artist Kathleen Smith will be featured, and the artist will be on hand to discuss her work, as will the Pomo Weavers Society. The Museum is currently showing “Gathering Time: Pomo Art During the Pandemic,” which features the artwork of 15 different contemporary Pomo artists, representing 10 Pomo tribal groups that span Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma Counties.
