Dinner and Auction to benefit CR’s Intercollegiate Athletics Program

College of the Redwoods will host a Dinner and Auction to benefit CR’s Intercollegiate Athletics
Program on August 11, from 5:00 to 9:00pm in the CR Gymnasium.

Tickets are on sale at $85 for an
individual, $640 for a table of eight, and $750 for a table of ten.

This year CR will be honoring their 2006 Softball Team – the first CR team sport to make it to the Final 8
State Championships since the merger of the small school/large school format. The event will also be
honoring the 50th anniversary of Title IX.

“We are extremely excited for the in-person return of the CR Dinner & Auction which benefits our
intercollegiate athletic programs,” said Bob Brown, Director of Athletics, Kinesiology, Health and
Physical Education. “Over the years. This event has been a critical revenue boost to the operations of all
the athletic teams and has directly benefitted our student-athletes’ academic and athletic experience. We
are truly grateful for all the continued community support and firmly believe this support has played an
integral role in our recent successes, including three Golden Valley Conference Championships in
Women’s Cross Country, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Track & Field this year. We look forward to
