Jewish Music and Culture Festival
Temple Beth El’s 4th annual Jewish Music and Culture Festival is coming up featuring two exciting klezmer music concerts by the dynamic San Francisco Yiddish Combo. On Saturday, February 18th come hear Wild and Fun Klezmer for the 21st century at 4 p.m. at Temple Beth El in Eureka. On Sunday February 19th, at 3 p.m. at the Eureka Women’s Club, the San Francisco Yiddish Combo will be joined by two dozen talented local musicians performing the Klezmer Heritage Concerto, Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah and more. Klezmer music, which began as wedding musc in Eastern Europe, is having a world-wide resurgence.
