Magical Family Literacy Party

Humboldt Literacy Project’s next free, all-ages, online family literacy party will feature magician Dale Lorzo.  Lorzo will lead children and the adults who love them through a hands-on magic show with a literary twist, Thursday, April 21st at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom.

A limited supply of very special magic-themed activity packets for kids are available for the first 20 people who request them. They can be picked up at the Eureka Library’s children’s desk after April 11. Visit the library in person, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or call 269-1940 for curbside pickup between 11 a.m. and noon. 

If you cannot come to the Eureka Library, HLP will mail a magic kit to you if you call 445-3655 or email [email protected] and make your request by April 15.

Magic-themed activity sheets are available for download at Families without printers can request these sheets be mailed to them.

Since 1981, Humboldt Literacy Project has connected adults who want help with their reading and writing with volunteer tutors for free, confidential, one-on-one English language studies.
