
May 7th – Year of the Tiger Street Festival – by Eureka Chinatown Project
This Saturday May 7th is the Year of the Tiger Street Festival by the Eureka Chinatown Project. This will be the first public Chinese Community Event in Old Town Eureka since 1885. Eureka Chinatown Project ribbon cutting event from 3 to 4 p.m. on E Street between Third and Fourth streets. Then from 6 to 9 p.m. during Arts Alive, there will be a street festival in front of the Clarke Museum with lion dancers, Lao dancers, Taiko drums, cultural performances, food trucks, artists, kids crafts and more.
