Online Workshop Series! The Whiteness Within: Challenging White Supremacy Culture

The new nonprofit, JustArts would like to invite you The Whiteness Within: Challenging White Supremacy Culture. This online workshop will use story sharing, reflection and physical expression to give participants a chance to recognize and shift away from racism.

*While white people are the target audience for this workshop,  any Indigenous, Black, and People of Color (IBPOC) who might feel called to observe and/or share their valuable perspectives are welcome!


Mo Desir: Local artist specializing in Social Justice and Arts Education.

Noël August: Queer performance artist, producer, activist & educator.

Sarah Peters: Theatre artist and educator focused on learning in community towards racial justice.

This is a four-hour online workshop divided over two days.

We offer this online workshop on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a suggested contribution of $50. (FREE for any IBPOC attendees.)

Please note that all proceeds go directly to our IBPOC presenters and collaborators and to support the work of Black Humboldt. Our presenters who are White or bi-racial with White passing privilege offer this free of charge.
