Presentation: Botanical Areas in Six Rivers National Forest

The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) invites the public to “Botanical Areas in Six Rivers
National Forest,” Wednesday January 11 at 7:30 P.M., at Six Rivers Masonic Lodge, 251 Bayside Rd.

Some areas in our national forests are so botanically special and unique that they are protected.
The nearest and most accessible is the spectacular serpentine landscape of Horse Mountain Botanical
Area. Forest botanist John McRae will present a photo tour of the botanically reserved areas of Six
Rivers National Forest.

Refreshments at 7 P.M., program at 7:30. CNPS hosts free public presentations on the second
Wednesday of each month, September through May.
