Shake your Groove Thing at the Home Cookin’ Arcata Playhouse Benefit

Fans of music and dancing can make plans to be at the Big Top Circus Tent in Arcata for a dance party with local Humboldt dance band Home Cookin’ on Saturday, July 9th, starting at 7:00 p.m. Guests will want to bring their dancing shoes and prepare to shake their groove thing. The band promises to deliver a range of musical flavors with a repertoire of original tunes and rock standards. Composed of legendary
local musical veterans, Joyce Hough, Gary Davidson, Fred Neighbor, and Mike Labolle, Home Cookin’ serves up savory musical entrees with a saucy backbeat.
Tickets are $15 and will benefit the upcoming October 1st Migrations event created and coordinated by Round Story, a project of Playhouse Arts.
This is a COVID safe event – attendees are required to wear masks and show proof of vaccination.
