The Clarke Historical Museum’s Saturday Speaker Series: The Story of Jack Ryan. Humboldt County’s Notorious Double Murder and the Framing of an Innocent Man

You are invited to our first Saturday Speaker Series of 2024 on February 3rd at 2:30 pm. This is a free event open to the community featuring “The Story of Jack Ryan: Humboldt County’s Notorious Double Murder and the Framing of an Innocent Man.”

Local historian Lynette Mullen will take us back to the 1920s during prohibition in Humboldt County, recounting the unjust framing of Jack Ryan for a double murder by corrupt Humboldt County District Attorney Stephen Metzler.

We extend our gratitude to Carl Johnson Co. and The Cutting Edge Hair Salon. Their generous support made this event possible.
