BLUE LAKE, CA – Be a part of the last student show for this year’s PTP class where you, the audience, are the final teacher! The students of the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre invite you to join them for THE FINALS! A series of short plays created and performed by the Class of 2022 as a culmination of their year-long studies.
The Professional Training Program (PTP) has drawn over 1000 alumni from 41 different countries to Humboldt County to encounter a theatre that is vital and necessary to our world. Dell’Arte invites audiences to witness the passage of these actor-poets in public performances throughout the year. They accost you in Commedia, you move with them in Truth in Size, you laugh during Clown! The international theatre-makers of Dell’Arte’s Professional Training Program will devise and perform an evening of short plays born out of their passionate engagement with the work of ensemble theatre-making. After a year of physical training, research in mask and various expressive theatre styles, as well as extensive improvisational exploration, these artists’ common aim is to move an audience into the realm of the imagined; to inspire, to entertain, and to transform. It’s time for THE FINAL show and you’re invited!
The Finals will run in the Carlo Theatre at 131 H St. in Blue Lake on Saturday June 11th, 2022 at 8pm. For one night only so get your tickets now!
