Wildflowers of the Klamath Mountains

The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) invites the public to “Wildflowers of the Klamath
Mountains,” Wednesday February 8 at 7:30 P.M., at Six Rivers Masonic Lodge, 251 Bayside Rd. Arcata.

Based on his book Wildflowers of California’s Klamath Mountains, Ken DeCamp will present a personal look at the wildflowers of an area with granitic, metamorphic, limestone, and serpentine rock, and an attendant botanical diversity unparalleled anywhere else in California. DeCamp is an acclaimed photographer and has great stories to share about his wildflower adventures.

Refreshments at 7 P.M.; program at 7:30. CNPS hosts free public presentations on the second Wednesday of each month, September through May.
