Fire ignites near Weott
According to information received by KMUD News:
Around 2:20 Wednesday, a fire ignited on a ridge near Weott. The fire is between Pesula Road and Newton Road. Scanner traffic between firefighters indicated a power line down in the fire zone. Calfire and local crews responded. To provide details about the fire, KMUD News aired an interview with Cal Fire Public Information Officer, Cricket Baird, on Wed. August 31, 2011.
