The KMUD Flea Market, or “swap meet,” is a volunteer-driven street market that provides space for people who want to sell or barter previously-owned merchandise. Beginning on Sunday, June 27 th and running consecutively throughout July, the KMUD Flea Market will provide our community with an honest to goodness old school trade space.
8’ x 10’ Spaces are $25 each plus a suggested donation of 10% of the proceeds. Please, cash only, paid after you set up your space
Season Pass for $100 (includes five Sunday markets, a season-long fixed space, early entry and set up)
Businesses welcome, but suggested 10 % donation becomes mandatory and all relevant permits are current and on site**
Opening Day, Sunday June 27; July 4; July 11; July 18; July 25
Hours of Operation: 9am to 2pm
Gates open at 8am for vendor set up; no vehicles allowed on property after 9am
Attendees are required to follow current Covid-19 protocol and a public portable toilet and hand sink will be provided. We want people to relax and enjoy themselves, staying as long as they like.
The market layout includes 37 8x10' spaces in five rows across our parking lot and front yard area.*
Vendors are encouraged to bring tables, pop-ups, chairs and blankets as KMUD is only providing the space. Gates open at 8am and traffic will be directed by volunteers. We ask that vendors unload their vehicles into their assigned spaces and move their vehicles immediately. They can set up their space and pay our market representative when they return. (We recommend people work in pairs as it’s faster and one person can shop the market while the other handles the customers.) No vehicles will be allowed onto the property after 9am.
Acoustic music may be provided by volunteers or KMUD will broadcast the popular Wild River Radio program from 10:30 to 1pm.
KMUD will provide AM beverages, i.e. coffee, tea, yerba mate, chai.
*Reservations are not accepted except for Season Pass holders. KMUD encourages everyone to arrive
closer to 8am for the best availability and ease of unloading.
**Food vendors and other businesses are welcome with the appropriate documentation. Commercial vendors should contact KUMD in advance for more information.
