Local Economic Conference draws 130 business leaders

Friday, June 10,2011 around 130 business leaders met on the campus of Humboldt State University for a regional gathering focused on local economic opportunity.

One aspect of the conference focused on the awareness of youth regarding economic issues and a group of high school students presented a video montage on how their peers view the economy. The video was produced by Arcata High School student Kristyn Payne and interviews were conducted by members of the Youth Design Target Team. That video is embedded below.
