Planning Commission GPU Public Hearing focuses on water issues Thurs.

KMUD News received a reminder from the Humboldt County Planning Department that:
On Thursday, August 11, 2011 starting at 6:00 pm, the Planning Commission will hold a continued public hearing on the Humboldt County General Plan Update, Planning Commission Hearing Draft. The Commission intends to begin deliberation on Chapter 11, the Water Resources Element. The Commission may also deliberate on the outstanding issues from Section 10.7 Scenic Resources.

The hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber, Humboldt County Courthouse, 825 Fifth Street, Eureka,California, (wheelchair access is available from the 829 Fourth Street entrance). The Planning Commission Hearing Draft, support documents and a schedule of the proposed hearing dates for the Draft Plan are available at the Humboldt County Planning Division’s website.
