Welcome to the Board Holly Kreb!!!!!

Please join us in welcoming our newest Board Member, Holly Kreb. Holly and her partner, Mel, have owned and operated Flood Plain Produce for thirty seven years on the Avenue of the Giants in Pepperwood. As a small organic farmer and longtime entrepreneur, Holly is well versed in remaining agile and adapting to market demand. Her background in Art and Design, her work with the Farmers’ markets in Fortuna and Garberville and her unstinting support for community supported radio make her uniquely qualified to be an effective board member.
Holly’s statement:
I am Holly Kreb and hope to be a part of the current KMUD Board of Directors.

Living in Pepperwood for over 37 years (beyond reach of cable TV or fast internet) local independent radio has been an important part of our daily life!

My husband, Mel, and I run a small Certified Organic vegetable farm from our home and have direct marketed in Pepperwood, Garberville and Fortuna where I started the Fortuna Farmers’ Mkt. 25 years ago.

I have served on a few local Boards including the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce, Fortuna Certified Farmers’ Market, 6 Rivers Planned Parenthood, and currently the Redcrest Community Center.

This is a rare time in my life- no kids at home, no major building project, no home wedding, major medical issues or big, big time distractions around the corner (fingers crossed).

I hope that you are able to use my services.
