Humboldt Bay Trail Community Clean-up Event

The community is invited to participate in the first-ever Community Clean-up Event along the recently opened section of the Humboldt Bay Trail connecting Arcata to Eureka. The event will be held  on Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a free lunch next to the trailhead at the foot of the Eureka Slough Bridge behind Target. It has been almost a year since the 4.3-mile section of trail connecting Arcata to Eureka opened, providing beautiful views of Humboldt Bay and a safe, shared path to walk, ride, or roll.
