Introduction to the Wonderful World of Lichens lecture w/ Sarah Norvell

Offering a glimpse into the fascinating world of lichenology, BLM & Friends of the Lost Coast continue the Lost Coast Lectures series on Fungi, Mosses, Liverworts & Lichens via Zoom on Thursday, March 5, with Sarah Norvell’s An Introduction to the Wonderful World of Lichens. This talk offers beginners an intro to lichens, including helpful tips & tricks for collection and identification, plus photos of our most charismatic Lost Coast lichen species! Sarah is a botanist for Redwood National Park and on the Humboldt Bay Mycological Society board. The 60-minute lecture begins at 6pm with Q&A after.
