KMUD is celebrating Pride Month all throughout June — and we want to feature your voice on our airwaves and podcast!
We’re inviting short audio segments (about 2 minutes long) that highlight a queer personality, historical event, or moment in LGBTQIA+ history.
Be creative, informative, political, poetic, inspiring — or all of the above. Whether it’s a trailblazer you admire, a lesser-known event that deserves attention, or a personal perspective on queer history, we want to hear it.
Below is an example to listen to, to clarify the idea if needed. You don’t need to worry about intro or outro — we’ll handle those. Just send us the core content.
The clips can be recorded through voice notes/audacity as an MP3. Once you get a good quality recording, send it to [email protected]. You can also leave a message on our All Sides Now voice recorder at 707-932-5276 or pass by KMUD to record in the studio. Deadline is June 6th.
