Pride flags are now flying on local government buildings across Humboldt County, with the City of Arcata raising its flag on Monday and the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors following on Tuesday during a formal proclamation ceremony. The Board officially declared June as Pride Month, recognizing the history, contributions, and resilience of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and reaffirming its commitment to inclusion and equity.
