Friends of the Eel River invites the public to voice support for Eel River dam removal at two events in August. First, on Thursday August 7th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. you can join us at Mad River Brewing in Blue Lake for a pint night and comment writing workshop. Second, you can join us on Friday, August 15th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Willits Environmental Center for a social with the Sierra Club Redwood Chapter. Meet the Redwood Chapter’s new director Alicia Bales, enjoy refreshments, and participate in a comment writing workshop. More information available at eelriver.org.
