Extended Forecast: Northwestern California is experiencing sunny weather this week due to a high-pressure system, which means the air is generally clear and stable with warmer daytime temperatures in the interior areas. Although mornings may feel chilly, it isn’t cold enough for frost to form, and daytime highs will mostly reach the mid-70s to near 80 in some valleys. Along the coast, typical temperatures are expected, with some low clouds overnight. Later in the week, the high pressure is expected to weaken as weather systems approach, but it is uncertain if these will bring rain to the region yet.
