SYNOPSIS: Cold overnight temperatures and patchy frost is possible

today and Wednesday. Generally dry weather and warm temperatures

through mid week. There is a chance of light rain and sprinkle

for Del Norte and Northern Humboldt counties on Thanksgiving Day,

followed by dry and cooler weather conditions through the weekend.

Inland: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Light and variable wind.

TONIGHT:  

Inland: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph.

Extended Forecast: Over the next several days, expect mostly dry weather with chilly nights and some morning fog, especially in valleys of Humboldt, Mendocino, and Trinity counties. Days will gradually get sunnier and warmer, with afternoon highs generally in the mid to upper 50s near the coast and 60s inland through midweek. A weak system on Thanksgiving may bring light rain mainly to Del Norte and northern Humboldt, while most other areas just see more clouds but stay mostly dry. For Friday through the weekend, the most likely scenario is continued dry weather with colder nights and more inland freezes, although there is a small chance of a wetter pattern developing.​
