NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE REPORT

Wednesday, November 26th, 2025

SYNOPSIS: High pressure will promote mild and dry weather today,

with temperatures warming into the upper 60s across interior

valleys. A weakening cold front is expected to bring increased

cloudiness and chances for light rain primarily to Del Norte and

northern Humboldt counties on Thanksgiving Day.

.

TODAY:

Inland: Areas of frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 66. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Sunny, with a high near 58. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon..

TONIGHT:

Inland: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. North northwest wind around 6 mph.

Extended Forecast:High pressure keeps things mostly dry and mild, with more sunshine during the day and some frosty nights in colder spots. For Thanksgiving, only light rain is expected mainly in Del Norte and northern Humboldt, with most other areas just seeing more clouds and staying mostly dry. Looking to Friday and the weekend, most forecast models favor a dry pattern with colder air moving in, which will mean more freezing nights inland. There is only a small chance (around 20%) that a different pattern brings more widespread rain over the weekend, so the extended forecast leans strongly toward dry and chilly rather than wet.
