The high pressure system that’s been keeping things warm and dry will start breaking down early next week. Rain is expected to return, likely starting Monday in the northern areas and spreading to Mendocino and Lake counties by Monday night or Tuesday. The rainfall amounts are expected to be light as these weather systems move through the region.
