In just weeks, our students could lose their school, their teachers, and the stability they depend on.
When a rural school closes, an entire community feels the loss.
A required mid-year enrollment audit caused a sharp drop in funding, placing Agnes J. Johnson Charter School in immediate crisis. Without emergency support, the school will close on February 28.
Closure would disrupt students and families, and cost our dedicated staff both their careers and livelihoods, while placing additional strain on neighboring rural schools.
We have until February 12!
We have until February 12 to raise the funds needed remain open through the end of this school year. Meeting this goal does not permanently save the school, but it allows our students to finish the year with stability while long-term solutions are pursued.
