39 years of community, events, and people powered radio!
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to KMUD in the last 39 years…volunteering, building our new studio after we moved out of the cabins in Garberville, DJing, our talk show hosts, staff, founders, donors, grantee’s, sponsors and time contributed to our community radio here in Southern Humboldt. We wouldn’t be people powered without YOU!
Through times of hardship and fun, we’ve hung tough and we’re proud of how far we’ve come. We’re struggling with CPB funding loss going into 2027 even with the Spring Drive and Block Party. We’ll persevere, but know that we are currently in a time of hardship and could use volunteers to help with events that help us stay afloat.
