In a special edition of Heart of the Earth featuring Margot Robbins and Elizabeth Azuz from the Cultural Fire Management Council, we discussed the powerful new film Firelighters: Fire is Medicine. The film by Sande Zeig highlights the reclamation of cultural fire practices by Yurok, Karuk, and Hoopa women to restore ecological and cultural balance.
