Weather & Tide Report – November 15, 2024

SYNOPSIS: Expect cooler temperatures today, with fog and low clouds clearing up a few hours after sunrise. While a few stray showers are possible in the morning, most areas will stay dry. Overnight lows will drop below freezing in many places, with frost likely, even near the coast.

TODAY: 

Inland: A 20 percent chance of showers before 10am. Sunny, with a high near 53. North wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Along the Coast: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 9 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

TONIGHT:  

Inland: Widespread frost, mainly after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 35. North wind 5 to 7 mph.

Along the Coast: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. North wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Extended Forecast: This weekend, temperatures will warm slightly as a new weather system moves in, bringing light rain Saturday night. Heavier rain is expected Sunday afternoon and evening, with snow in the interior mountains. Snow levels could drop to as low as 2,500 feet by Monday morning, though most precipitation will have fallen by then, minimizing impacts. Next week remains uncertain, with the potential for either dry, mild weather or significant rain and strong winds. Stay tuned for updates as the forecast evolves.
